Knight Kendall Berlyn, 86, of Brownsburg, passed away on February 21, 2016. He had been an accountant for Allisons Transmissions and was a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church. He was one of the founders of Brownsburg Jr. Football League. He coached football and baseball little league with great joy! He loved sports. Yankees, Purdue, Racing, Golf, and Fishing were some of his joys. He loved anything his grandchildren and great grandchildren played. He was preceded in death by his son Richie Berlyn. Survivors include his wife Sylvia Jean Berlyn; children Suzi Berlyn Denton, Kari (Donnie) Matthews, Jim (Donita) Berlyn; daughter-in-law Cindy Berlyn Taylor; brother Lewis (Jackie) Berlyn; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 Noon on Sat. Feb. 27 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with memorial services at 12 Noon. Contributions may be made to Pittsboro United Methodist Church.
