Larry G. Gregory
87, Avon, passed away September 5, 2021. He was a member of Crossroads Church of Avon. He was a US Navy Korean War veteran. He worked at Benham Press for 27 years. In 1978 he started Quaylynn Homes with his son, Matt, and built hundreds of houses for families over the past 40 years. So many families have raised their kids in homes that were built the right way and built to last. Larry was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Gregory. Thankfully he only had to be apart from his beloved Barbara for less than 8 months, reunited once again. Survivors include his children Donna (Jerry) Abshier and Matt (Mirenda) Gregory; grandchildren Megan Reischel, Adam Abshier, Morgan Gregory, Daniel Abshier and Matthew Q. Gregory II; great grandchildren Noah, Eli, Ben and Addison Reischel and Kobe, Kaedyn, Koli and Kyler Gills. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2pm Friday September 10 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 2pm. Burial will follow in Brownsburg Cemetery.
