Larry Allen Ward
Age 75, Indianapolis, passed away Dec. 27, 2014. He had worked for INDOT for 15 years, retiring in 2009. He served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1960. An avid Indy car fan and card player, he previously worked for USAC for 17 years. He was preceded in death by his brother James Barrett. Survivors include his wife Carol S. Ward; children Brian Ward, Caryn (Erick) McCoy, and Scott (Cindy) Ward; sister Avis (John) Byram; brothers Donald Ward and Keith Ward; grandchildren Randy, Marcus, Estella, and James Ward, Danielle and Katelyn McCoy, Alexis (Kipp) Arnold, Abigail, Adrianna Ward, Justin and Zachary Abner; great grandchild Kynzlie Arnold. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Fri. Jan 2, 2015 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with memorial services there at 10am Sat. Jan. 3. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. The family offers their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Kindred Hospice nurses Kirby, Loreen, and Jeanette, aide LeChandra, and spiritual counselor Neal Dreadin for their tender and loving care for Larry.
