Lavon D. "Lee" Ellis, age 90, Brownsburg, passed away Aug. 5, 2014. Lee had been a crane operator for R. L. Schutt Construction and was an Army Veteran of WWII. Lee was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and Operating Engineers Union. Survivors include his wife Bettie Ellis; daughters Pat Galovic, Penny Schenck, and Pam Miller; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1pm Fri. Aug. 8 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 11am-1pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
