Obituary

Lawrence O. Fisher

67, Brownsburg, passed away February 11, 2021.  He was a small engine mechanic for many years, retiring from Engledow.  He served in the US Army from 1971 to 1974 and was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles Lodge.  He was preceded in death by his parents Rusty and Imogene; sister Deedee Hash and brother Marty Fisher.  Larry is survived by his wife Janet Fisher; children Elijah (Amanda) Fisher and Teaka (Tom) Vest; sisters Helen Schwartzel, Sue Hampton and Debbie Huston; brother Tony Swain; grandchildren Devon Fisher and Dylan Birchell; several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Monday February 15 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm.  Burial will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery with military honors.  In compliance with current regulations and restrictions, guests must wear masks and observe social distancing.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org
