Leah R. Godbey

85, Brownsburg, passed away on April 7, 2024.  She was one of the founding members of the Apostolic Bible Church of Brownsburg, where she dedicated her life to music ministry and played the organ for 65 years.  Leah worked and retired from Farm Bureau Insurance.  She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell Godbey; parents Claude and Virginia Jenkins.  Survivors include her daughter Sheri (Allen) Grayson; sisters Claudia Fullerton, Helen Clampitt; grandchildren Tara, Grant and Brooke Grayson.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Fri. Apr. 12 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon.
