Levi Ryan
Baber
November 15, 1996 – February 9, 2023
Levi Ryan Baber, 26, of Lizton, Indiana, passed away on February 9, 2023.
Levi was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 15, 1996 – the son of Ryan and Rachel (Eller) Baber. He grew up in Lizton, Indiana attending Brownsburg Baptist Church Pre-school and Kindergarten, and the Northwest Hendricks/Tri-West school corporation. He placed his faith in Jesus while attending Brownsburg Baptist Church and was baptized on May 23, 2004.
While growing up Levi enjoyed playing most sports – from soccer, football, baseball, basketball, track, and wrestling. At age three he was already riding his bicycle without training wheels. As a toddler he loved to dress in costumes – especially if they had capes. His cowboy boots were worn so much they flapped at the toes. He had a love for shoes that never tired, and was focused on keeping them looking like new.
His love and passion was music. He took drum lessons for several years, and as a teen aspired to be a rap singer and writer. His words on paper were raw and from a deep place with much thought behind them. Music continued to be a source of comfort, relaxation, and enjoyment for him.
Levi held several different jobs over the years. He was eager to be a hard worker at whatever he did and received praise for his good work ethic. He enjoyed working construction where he learned new skills and the ins-and-outs of business. In more recent years, his drawing and tattooing was a hobby – whether for himself or others. He strived to master the hair clippers and was proud when he could get his hair just right. He thought one day of being a barber.
Most of all, Levi had a big heart, great personality, and loved being with family and friends. He was a people person and could get along with anyone. His handsome smile could brighten your day. He had an infectious laugh that would get you laughing right along with him.
He is loved and survived by: his parents Ryan and Rachel Baber; brother Luke Baber; maternal grandmother Diane Eller; paternal grandmother Linda Baber; aunt Jennifer (Eller) Pinegar; uncle Abe Baber (Erin); and cousins Jake, Jared, Graham, Everett
Proceeded in death: maternal grandfather Bob Eller; paternal grandfather Ron Baber; uncle Chad Baber
