Linda Kay Thompson Flanagin
72, Brownsburg, passed away March 31, 2015. Born Nov. 16, 1942 to Edwin Thompson and Betty White Thompson, she grew up and graduated from high school in Linton, IN. The light of her life was son, Will, born in CA, July 18, 1964. Linda lived in Indianapolis for many years, working at Snack Time, and retired in 2008 after 16 years from Herff Jones. In retirement she lived in Brownsburg and greatly enjoyed lively Euchre gatherings and participating in events with the Brownsburg Park & Rec. Programs. She had many dear friends and former co-workers who will forever miss her sweet smile. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; son William E. Flanagin Jr; and step-father, Rolland Richards. Survivors include family members in Linton, IN, Arizona and Florida along with many dear friends and her beloved West Highland Terrier, Abby. Visitation will be Tues., April 7, 2015, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service immediately following at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial service will take place April 8, 2015, 11:00 am at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hendricks County Animal Hospital - 250 E.
