Linda C. Runyan
Linda Carol Runyan (Lee) born November 3, 1940 passed away surrounded by family on May 13, 2022. She was a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida. Born in Minnesota to Rex and Bede Lee her family relocated to Indianapolis when she was in elementary school. She married and raised two children in Avon, Indiana where she was very active in her children's activities and working as a school secretary. She later remarried and moved to Florida where she spent the last twenty "plus" years. She worked as a bank teller, school secretary, Admin at Syndicate Systems and later at the IU Bookstore before she retired. She is survived by her Husband Robert Runyan, children: Jeff Bates and Kim Bates, Grandchildren: Austin (Ashley) Bates, Harrison Bates and Bayleigh Bates, and Brother: David Lee along with nieces Alison (Tony) Maas and Missy Lee, step son: David (Laurie) Runyan, step grandchildren: Walker (Robin) Runyan and Leanne Runyan. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Friday May 20 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 noon. Entombment will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
