Linda A. Scherer

83, Camby, passed away on March 2, 2022.  She was a teller for the State Bank of Lizton for many years and was a member of the Phi Beta Psi Sorority in Pittsboro.  She was an avid cross stitcher, creating pieces for her family's marriages, births and holidays.  She loved to play cards and sewed clothes for her family for many years.  Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years of marriage Paul F. Scherer Jr.; daughter Elizabeth Ann Scherer; parents Charles and Martha Eller; brothers Thomas and Robert Eller.  Survivors include her children David (Dawn) Scherer, Mike (Diana) Scherer; Amy (Mike) McKenna; 7 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Sat. Mar. 5 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.
