Linda Jeanne Shockley

81, Brownsburg, passed away on January 1, 2025.  She was a customer service representative for Sysco Food Service for many years.  Linda also worked for Kohl's in Brownsburg for 8 years.  She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and Connection Pointe Christian Church.  Linda never met a stranger, was a second mom and nana and caregiver to many.  She was a creative woman always looking for a new project or hobby.  Linda was preceded in death by her husband Larry Shockley; daughter Lora Hayward; parents Leon and Helen Dodson.  Survivors include her daughter Lucinda (Kyle) Hadley; son Lance (Bobbi Jo) Shockley; sisters Marilyn (Jim Harless) Hughes, Bobbie Wynne, Juanita (Jerry) Nicholson; grandchildren Cody Shockley, Bailey Shipp, Kaitlyn Foley (Blake), Camden Hadley (Peyton), Sierra Shockley; great granddaughter Kaydence Shockley.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 1 pm Wed. Jan. 8 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
