Lois Day

96, Lifelong resident of Brownsburg, joined the house of our Lord on November 26, 2024.  Lois was a long-time member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Fayette (Lebanon) and a prominent member of the Brownsburg Chapter 266, Order of the Eastern Star.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Donald R. Day, son Daniel C. Day, sisters Fern Haulk and June Williams, brothers Ed and Bud Haulk, and parents Ernest and Nettie Haulk.  Survivors include sons Douglas (Nora) Day, David (Bianca) Day, daughter-in-law Lachelle Day, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 noon Saturday, November 30 at Matthews Mortuary, 690 East 56th St., Brownsburg, IN 46112, with funeral services held there at 12 noon.  Following the services, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Brownsburg Cemetery, Brownsburg, IN.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gospel Grace Baptist Church (formerly Mount Tabor Baptist Church) building fund, 7300 South State Road 267, Lebanon, IN  46052.
