Lonnie O. Thompson
87, Brownsburg, passed away May 4, 2021. Lonnie was a US Army Veteran and a long-time member of Connection Pointe Christian Church. He had been a design draftsman for Rotz Engineers for over 40 years, retiring in 1999. He was preceded in death by sisters Ruby Helfer and Wilma Strader. He is survived by his wife Shirley Thompson; children Elisa (Marc) Rifkind and Blaine (Jinjer) Thompson; brother Charles Thompson; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Friday May 7 at Connection Pointe Christian Church in the Chapel (Enter through Door 10). Funeral services will be there at 1pm. Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery. In compliance with current conditions, it is recommended that guests wear masks and observe social distancing.
