M. Suzanne (Rapp) Overman Age 89, Brownsburg, passed away Oct. 15, 2012. She was born Aug. 22, 1923 to Joseph and Ruth Rapp in Syracuse, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Victor Overman. Sue was a devoted coach's wife, loving mother and grandmother, dedicated teacher, and avid golfer. Sue and Vic were blessed with many friendships from the many communities they served including New Castle, Noblesville, Westfield, Rochester, Franklin, Michigan City, Mishawaka, Carmel, and Brownsburg. Sue was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star (since 1941) and Tri Kappa Sorority (since 1953). She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Faith in Action. Survivors include children Daniel (Mary) Overman, Nancy Overman Johnson, David (Debbie) Overman, Robert (Paula) Overman, and MaryAnn (William) Zweige; brother Joseph (Jackie) Rapp Jr.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. Oct. 18 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services 10am Fri. Oct. 19 at Calvary United Methodist Church.
