Malcolm (Mac) B. Moore

88, of Pittsboro, passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2026. Malcolm served in the U.S. Navy before working in banking at both State Bank and the Hendricks County Bank for many years. He was also a former member of the Brownsburg City Council, served on the Board of Directors and was past President of the Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church.

Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow L. Moore and Dorothy Mae Morris; brother Woodrow W. Moore; sisters Sharon Lottchea and Janet K. Moore.

He is survived by his beloved wife Carol E. Moore; children Machelle (Jay) Tomlinson, William Daniels, John (Bridget) Daniels, and Michael (Missy) Daniels; sister JoAnn Vineyard; brother Richard (Mary) Dodson and Victor (Susie) Moore; grandchildren Sarah (Edwin) Ayala-Reyez, Joseph (Ava) Daniels, Isaac Daniels, and Lucia Daniels. Memorial visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Sat., Jan. 17 at Cornerstone Christian Church, Brownsburg, with memorial services at 1 pm.
