Marheta "Rita" Welliver

60, Brownsburg, passed away on January 13, 2021.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.  She worked as a dental assistant for Brownsburg Dental Professionals.  Rita was fond of music, singing and playing the piano.  She loved to travel, cook and spend time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Carl and Judy Asbury; brother David Asbury; granddaughter Lydia Welliver.  Survivors include her husband Phil Welliver; son Jeremy (Teri) Hicks of Tennessee; step daughter Andrea (Matt Thomas) Welliver of California; step son Justin (Heather Johnston-Welliver) Welliver of Ohio; grandchildren Ian and Evan Welliver-Thomas, Benjamin, Josephine and Samuel Welliver.  Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm Fri. Jan. 22 at Liberty Baptist Church, 10450 E. CR 450N, Brownsburg, IN 46234, with funeral services there at 2 pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Count the Kicks in memory of Rita Welliver at secure.givelively.org/donate/healthy-birth-day-inc/rita-welliver-memorial.  In compliance with current requirements and restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.
