Marietta Nierzwick, 76, Avon, passed away on Feb. 26, 2017. She had been a Health aide for Brownsburg Community Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Bessie Hawkins; daughters Sheryl Nierzwick and Karen Houghlan. Survivors include her husband Robert E. Nierzwick; sons Larry (Sheryl) Nierzwick, Mark (Christa) Nierzwick; grandchildren Andrew, Lori, Joe, Anna and Stephen. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm Fri. Mar. 3 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 3 pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
