Obituary

Mark A. Hindsley, 76, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on January 21, 2026 with his loving wife by his side on January 21, 2026. Mark was born on June 10, 1949, the oldest of three boys, to the late Gene and Theresa (Dillon) Hindsley.

Mark graduated from Speedway High School in 1967. Mark also was a graduate of Butler University in 1972.

Over the years he worked for Link Belt, Hurco, Aero Industries, and eventually as controller for the Indiana State Fair, a job he absolutely loved. After the fair he worked at Meaningful Day Services before retiring.

Mark was never far from his copy of the Indianapolis Business Journal or The Indianapolis Star.  He loved convertibles, especially Mustangs, and had several over the years for drives on nice days.

Mark was a member of Connection Pointe Church in Brownsburg and an active member of his Bible study.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Theresa, and his brother Steven E. Hindsley.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Deanna (Vidito) Hindsley; his brother Jeff (Kelly) Hindsley; his sons Mark (Debbie) Hindsley and Jason (Sara) Hindsley; step-daughter Debbie (Bill) Springer and step-son Michael Linn; 4 grandchildren, and his niece Cheryl Hindsley, to whom the entire family is grateful for her help and
support.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm Monday January 26 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownburg, with funeral services there at 10am Tuesday January 27.  He will be laid to rest next to family in Brownsburg Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to www.wfyi.org
