Marla Walker Farmer age 37, Jamestown, IN, passed away on Fri. Dec. 23, 2011 at her home. Marla was born on Dec. 20, 1974 in Danville and spent her childhood around all type of animals on the family farm. She enjoyed finding old pieces of furniture and with a little hard work and paint turned it into stylish, trendy, vintage-style home décor. If you discarded an old item it could become a never lost treasure. Marla was a unique woman whose inner strength and good heart inspired her to be good to her family, neighbors, and friends. Marla is survived by daughters Lauren Walker, Marissa and Miranda Farmer; mother Polly Walker (Ken Toler); grandfather Oral H. Ratliff; father and stepmother Mike and Debra Walker; half-sister and half-brother Jessica and Clinton Walker. Marla had a cherished Jack Russell Terrier, Charmin. Her companion Tim Rayburn was who she made her home with. Funeral services will be 3pm Fri. Dec. 30 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 1-3pm.
