Marlene F. Bullock

81, of Danville, passed away August 30th, 2026. She was born on February 26, 1945, in East Chicago, Indiana. Northwest Indiana was home for 78 of her 81 years - a community where she was born, raised, married and the place she always proudly called home. Though her final years were spent closer to family in Indianapolis, her heart always remained in The Region. Marlene loved her family and she was devoted to her husband of 60 years. Faith was an important part of her life. She attended Catholic grade school and remained an active member of several Catholic parishes, carrying her faith with her through all of life’s joys and challenges. She leaves behind a beautiful example of what it means to build a life with love and faith at its foundation. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Celia Kristoff. Survivors include her husband John Bullock; children Bridget Evanich (husband Robert) and Shawn Bullock (wife Laura); sister Marcia Chism; grandchildren Bryan Evanich, Allison Herring (husband Nick), Emily Hopkins (husband Brandon), Matthew Bullock, Adam Evanich (wife Becca), Taylor Bullock and Joanna Evanich; 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4th from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services to follow at 2:30 pm.

Marlene will then be laid to rest at St. Malachy Cemetery West, Pittsboro.
