Martha Jane Hodge
age 94, Avon, passed away Aug. 9, 2014. She had been a member of St. Michael Catholic Church since 1950 and was a founding member of the Quilt Guild of Indianapolis. She was inducted into the Illinois Quilters Hall of Fame. She was preceded in death by her husband Loren Hodge Jr. and son-in-law James Koskey. Survivors include daughters Suzanne (Dave) Dickerson and Theckla Koskey; sister Lucy Burtschi Grady; grandchildren Brian (Kelly) Koskey, Sandy (J.) Fulcher, Matt Dickerson, and Brett (Lisa) Dickerson; great grandchildren Nyssa Koskey and Amanda Fulcher. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Wed. August 13 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Funeral services will be 10:30am Thurs. Aug. 14 at St. Michael Catholic Church, with visitation at the church from 9:30am. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church. The family wishes to thank the staff at Wellbrooke Health Care for their loving care.
