Marvin "Jerry" Wachendorf
85, Brownsburg, passed away August 15, 2023.  He served in the US Army from 1960 to 1964 and later became an insurance system analyst.  Marvin married Dianne Ness, the love of his life, on May 13, 1967.  Marvin was a long time member of St. Malachy Catholic Church and the church choir.  He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Other memberships included YMCA Indian Guides, Brownsburg Swim Club, Brownsburg Band Boosters, and he was the founder of Face to Face Support Club.  He was preceded in death by his wife Dianne Wachendorf and parents Joseph and Genevieve Wachendorf.  Survivors include children Mark Wachendorf (wife Heather), Brian Wachendorf (wife Vicky) and Karen Wachendorf; grandchildren Emily, Marek, Justin, Evan and Logan.  Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm Monday August 21 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, followed by funeral mass at St. Malachy Catholic Church at 12:30pm.  Please view picture slideshow below.
