Mary E. Bartz, 82, Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on August 17th. Whether you knew her as Mom, Nan, Grandma, Aunt Mary, Great Grandma or just Mary, she will be remembered as a wonderful, fun-loving, caring and special person. Family and friends were the most important thing in her life and you didn't have to be related to be treated like one of the family. She could always be found at soccer games, swimming meets, ice skating and anywhere else her grandchildren were involved. She also loved playing bridge and getting together with her friends. She will be missed, loved and remembered by all that knew her. Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years Melford Bartz. Children: Cheryl (Jack) Kennard of Brownsburg, IN and Bob (Elaine) Bartz of Hanover Park, IL. Grandchildren: Jason (Katie) Kennard, Jared (Lori) Kennard, Joshua Bartz, Ben Bartz and Lindsey Bartz. Great grandchildren: Avery Kennard, Ema Bartz and Colin Kennard. The family has decided not to have a formal service, so no flowers. Please just take a minute or two and remember her in your own way.
