Obituary

Mary Emma Wilson, 98, Brownsburg, passed away on May 10, 2017. She was born June 10, 1918 to Margaret and William Haag. Mary married her husband of 64 years Raymond Wilson. They became lifelong residents of Brownsburg after Raymond was discharged from the Army. Together, they owned and operated a gas station, dry goods store and later opened Mikes Men's Wear in Brownsburg. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church and lived at Westside Garden Plaza Retirement Center. Mary loved to write, enjoyed reading to the blind, sewing and made all her clothing. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Wilson. Survivors include nephews Ray McClain, Brian, Eddie and Reggie Lovell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gleaners Food Bank or your favorite charity. Graveside services will be private.
