Mary Lou C. (McCrory) Good
84, Grand Rapids, MI, formerly of Brownsburg, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2013. She was born on November 16, 1928, in Perrysburg, Ohio, to the late Al and Eva McCrory. She graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1946 and continued her education at the University of Toledo. While in Toledo, she worked for Toledo Machine and Tool Company in the payroll and accounting departments. She later worked in Public Relations for the Toledo Board of Education. In 1976, she and her husband, the late Lawrence D. Good, moved to Brownsburg, IN. She joined her husband in working at Bethesda Christian Schools in 1979, where she taught both bookkeeping and typing, worked in the library, and was the year book advisor. Mary retired in 1998. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, and her brother, Harold McCrory. She is survived by her niece, Terri (Andy) Weiss, nephews Jeff and Greg (DeeDee) McCrory, great nieces Andrea Myers and Angie Worth, and great great nephew Devon Worth, all of Michigan. Mary had been living in Grand Rapids, MI for nearly three years with her niece and family. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sun. July 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services 10am Mon. July 29 at Bethesda Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Bethesda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting memorial contributions can be made to The Hospice of Western Michigan or Bethesda Christian Schools, Brownsburg, IN.
