Mary Jo Heady, daughter of Merrill and Serena Wilson in Indianapolis, passed away on March 12, 2015. After graduating from Lawrence Central High School in 1949, she became secretary to the Medical Director at Indiana University Medical School. She married Carl E. Heady on May 3, 1952. After being a homemaker, she returned to work as Vice President of Carl E. Heady & Associates. Mary loved gardening, cooking, the outdoors, adored cats and spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl E. Heady; son Gregory S. (Anne) Heady; daughters Brenda K. (Carl) Grigsby and Marcia L. (Daniel) Smith; sister Doris A. McCave; two grandsons Christopher P. Grigsby and Richard E. Grigsby. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Mary's life will be held on March 20, 2015 from 3pm until 6pm at Eaton Hall, 61 N.
