Indiana resident Mary E. Hession, 81, passed away peacefully within the comfort of family in St Petersburg, Florida, on September 23, 2013. Mary enjoyed many years as a farm wife with husband Charles E. Hession, at their small family farm Northeast of Brownsburg, Indiana, where they experienced a rich life of daily work accompanied with interaction with friends, relatives, and farmhands. They also hosted many visits and gatherings with relatives. In more recent years, Mary resided seasonally in both Speedway, Indiana, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Mary was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Mary was born to Charles and Ora (Cox) Lane, who had ten children. Mary is survived by sister Patricia (Billy) Denton, and preceded in death by siblings: Warren, Wallace, William, Kenneth, Theodore, Bernard, Rella, Doris. Mary was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Charles E. Hession. Mary is survived by son, David (Kimberly), and daughters, Diane (Jack) Vaughan and Maureen Parker, and beloved grandchildren: Keerstin, Rachel, Allison, and Milan. Calling will be at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 27. Funeral Mass will be held at St Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg, 10 a.m., Saturday, September 28.
