Mary Jo Ferree

71, of Brownsburg, passed away on September 16th, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis to her parents Russell and Patricia (Brown) Yowell on October 10th, 1954. During Mary Jo’s professional career, she worked for 27 years as a respected paralegal for Benkie and Crawford Attorneys before her deserved retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her beloved husband Del R. Ferree Sr. in 2008 and brother Pete Yowell. Mary Jo is survived by her children Del R. (Jennifer L.) Ferree Jr. and Dane (Jenny D.) Ferree; brothers Ross Yowell and Mike Yowell; sisters Janice Yowell and Terri Bennett; cherished grandchildren Del Ferree III, Kayla Ferree, Ellee Ferree, Dylan Ferree, and Jackson Ferree, Spencer Ferree, Andrew Ferree, Emmy Ferree, and Charlie Ferree. Graveside services will be held 11am Tuesday September 22 at Brownsburg Cemetery, Brownsburg, IN where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
