Mary E. McGuire
70, Brownsburg, passed away Dec. 6, 2021. A dispatcher for over 45 years, she started her career with the Hendricks County Sheriff Office and then retired from Brownsburg Police Department as dispatcher and records coordinator. She also dispatched for Marilyn's Towing and Porter's Towing. Mary was an active member of the Brownsburg American Legion Post 331 Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Plainfield Lodge 3207. At the American Legion she prepared and served many breakfasts and dinners and was the chairperson for Bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Mary (Hanlon) Gipson. Survivors include her daughter Megan (Joshua) Lopez; sister Michelle "Mickey" (Ron) Lamb; brother Bob (Monica) Gipson; nieces Corinne "Cricket" (John) Moore, Kathleen Lamb, Rachel Lamb, Rena (Don) Moore, Tracie (Clint) Godby, Stacie (Matt) Minardo; several great nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be from 11am to 2pm Thursday Dec. 16 at the Brownsburg American Legion, 636 E. Main St., Brownsburg, IN, with a celebration of life service at 2pm.
