Mary Margaret (Peg) Russell
age 95, Brownsburg, beloved mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 19, 2012, surrounded by her family. Born April 17, 1916, in Apollo, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Eckman and Elzina Shellhammer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands William Ross Myers and Thomas Russell; sisters Margie Fiscus, Carrie Mellinger, Lydia Ruth Eckman; brothers David, Elmer, George Willard, and Ira Arlo Eckman. Survivors include daughters Billie (Don) Adkins and Donna Dyer; grandson Mike (Susan) Adkins. She enjoyed reading, writing and poetry and was a faithful prayer warrior. She attended Bethesda Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Thurs. Feb. 23 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 1pm. Burial will be 11am Sat. Feb. 25 at Jersey Shore (PA) Cemetery.
