Mary Slobodian, age 83, Gladstone, MO, formerly of Brownsburg, passed away July 22, 2014. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Smithville, MO, and was formerly a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Fayette. She and her husband, Peter Slobodian, served as missionaries with Baptist International Evangelistic Ministries and Baptist Global Mission. Her husband preceded her in death. Survivors include children Anna (Rick) Shrader, Samuel (Amy) Slobodian, and Deborah (Stan) Rea; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1pm Sat. July 26 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 12 noon. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery.
