Mervin Ray Norman

87, Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025.  He was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion, Brownsburg Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Murat Shrine. He served in the Air Force and was a member of the Air National Guard. Mervin was an entrepreneur and insurance appraiser for more than 50 years.  A lifelong car enthusiast, he enjoyed vintage cars, including his 1966 Ford Mustang. Mervin was an accomplished woodworker, avid gardener, and looked forward to fishing trips to Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents Elza and Jewel Norman; brother Donald Norman.  Survivors include his loving wife Georgia Norman; sons Brian (Pamela) Norman, Brent (Julie) Norman; sisters Wanda O'Donnell, Janet Eden; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.  Memorial visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Mon. June 30 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with memorial services there at 12 pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Shriners Hospitals for Children at www.shrinerschildrens.org
