Michael E. Stephens

52, Brownsburg, passed away on November 19, 2023.  It is with great sadness that we let go of a generous man who was loved and admired by many family, friends, marching band and guard family, and the quilting world.  He owned and operated the Art Ovation and Not Your Average Quilter since 1995.  There wasn't one that he didn't want to help learn what he knew.  For that he'll be greatly missed.  He leaves behind his parents, Bill and Marilyn Stephens; Hunter, his dog and Robert Witt who was with him till the end.  He was preceded in death by his brother Gary, grandparents, William and Mary Stephens; Ira and Lucille Swisher.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Tues. Nov. 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there Wed. Nov. 29 at 10 am.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ASPCA at www.aspca.org Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
