Michelle Rose Fulbright "Mickey"

78, Brownsburg, passed away from cancer peacefully in her home with her family present, May 14, 2023.

Mickey loved her Lord Jesus above all else and put her faith into practice by loving others; the sole focus of her life was taking care of her family, friends, and sometimes even strangers.  Mickey was a long-time member of Bethesda Baptist Church (now known as Parkside Bible Church). She was a Ben Davis High School cheerleader and 1963 graduate. A beloved wife, mother, sister and Nana, her greatest joy was watching her kids and later grandkids participate in sports, theater, concerts, recitals or any activity they were involved in. Often she drove many miles in and out of state to attend their events.  Mickey enjoyed taking trips with her husband, family and friends. She was known for her zest for life and zany sense of humor. Her gift of exuberant hospitality, generous friendship and her famous chocolate sheet cake will be missed by many.

Mickey was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Eva "Mamaw" Hopper, husband Robert Fulbright, son Bradley Fulbright, daughter-in-law Melissa Fulbright, and brothers Allan Hopper and Michael Hopper.  Survivors include daughters Michelle (Andrew) Baird and Robin (James) Dickman; grandchildren Ben (Shauna) Fulbright, Sam Fulbright, Jack Fulbright, Joe (Hannah) Dickman, Anna Dickman, Nathan Dickman, Jacob Dickman, and Emily Dickman; sister Cathy (Dennis) Faires; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

There will be a private graveside service. Friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate her life on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, 2 - 4 PM in the Ablaze Room at Parkside Bible Church, 7950 N. CR 650E, Brownsburg, IN 46112
