Mildred N. Wissen, 89, Avon, passed away Jan. 8, 2017. She was a member of Kingsway Christian Church, Ladies Oriental Shrine and Smyrna Shrine and Guild. She was preceded in death by husband Floyd Wissen and daughter Nancy Wissen. Survivors include sons Stephen (Debbie) Wissen and Gregory Wissen; sister Ruth Lunsford; grandson Aaron Wissen; step grandchildren James Michael and Janice Penrod; great grandchildren Beckett, Bennett and Avery Wissen; step great grandchildren JJ and Gabe Penrod. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2pm Thurs. Jan. 12 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 2pm. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
