Mona L. Werling-Knight

69, of Indianapolis, passed peacefully on June 13th, 2026. Mona was born in Indianapolis to her parents Boyce and Retha (Wilson) Gosser on November 12th, 1956 as one of five siblings. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1975 before going on to proudly earn her Bachelor’s degree from IUPUI. During her professional career, Mona most notably worked in technical support at MIBOR for many years. She was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brownsburg where she loved to play the organ.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Knight; brothers Donald Gosser and Mark Gosser. She is survived by her son Nathaniel Werling; sister Barbara McMurtry; brother Lloyd Gosser; honorary brother Ronald Crawford. She will also be missed greatly by her cat Elvira.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th from 11 am to 1 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9710 W 56th St, Clermont, IN 46234, with funeral services to follow at 1 pm. Mona will then be laid to rest in Bethesda Cemetery.
