Monica (Jones) Hill Age 84, passed away March 3, 2013 at Ivy Trace in Danville, IN after 5 years of loving care. She will be missed by her family at Ivy Trace. She was born June 16, 1928 in Bideford, England and was raised in Ilfracombe, North Devon England. She married GM3 Herbert V. Hill Jr. on June 16, 1945 while he was stationed in England during WWII in the United States Navy. She loved gardening, bird watching, and traveling to England to see her family. She is survived by daughter, Beverly Riggen; son Michael Hill; two grandsons, Matthew Riggen and Rhys Hill; two sisters, Delores Ballam and Thelma McKay; and one brother, John Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert V. Hill Jr. and sister, Valerie Jones. She was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church where she was actively involved in Golden Cheer and Ruth's Circle. Visitation will be from 10am-Noon on Wed. March 6 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at Noon. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
