Nancy J. Coats

63, Avon, passed away on December 20, 2023.  She was a member of Kingsway Christian Church and a graduate of Indiana State University.  Nancy was a chemist for Ingredion, formerly National Starch for over 36 years.  She was also a member of the International Order of King's Daughters & Sons.  Nancy was preceded in death by her parents John and Ramona McCallister.  Survivors include her husband Douglas Coats; son Jeremy Coats; sisters Beth (James) Oswalt, Judy (Ross) Hicks; niece Shayne Hicks.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Wed. Dec. 27 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services Thurs. Dec. 28 at 10 am.  Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
