Nancy Kathleen (Turner) Rosemeyer passed peacefully at her home in Brownsburg at 12:30 AM on October 10, 2021. Kathy was born on September 3, 1933 in Tennessee to Robert and Virginia (Harvey) Turner. After graduating from Bentonville High School in 1951, she joined the United States Air Force. While serving in the military in South Carolina, she met her future husband, William "Bill" Rosemeyer. They were married on December 25, 1953 and moved to Brownsburg.
Kathy's service to and love of her country were shown by her actions and attire. She was a proud American veteran. Kathy had many other loves including her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends. She was a member of Connection Point Church, Brownsburg American Legion (50-year member), and the Indiana Softball Hall of Fame.
Her loving, hard-working, competitive spirit was shown in her coaching and playing. After playing competitive softball herself, she developed the first softball team for girls in Brownsburg in 1966. Her love of competition continued as she bowled and played golf for many years. In addition, she thoroughly enjoyed a trip to the casino or a stay at the beach. Kathy's undeniable giving heart was so appreciated by her family and friends.
