Nancy Grace Ludlow

89, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, and to most everyone, Mommaw. She was married to Richie for almost 50 years. She loved being a grandma, especially when it involved watching children's sporting events all the while making sure to capture it on film. She always enjoyed a competitive game of cards with a Dr. Pepper in hand. When playing her you better not cheat, but if you do it could be a "practice round". She always smiles when an Elvis song came on, especially one of his ballads. As a lover of both technology and genealogy, she made sure she knew how everyone was related and could not wait to get back to enter everything she learned from them into her computer. Her love of genealogy came from her mother, and using both her and her mom's research, Nancy was able to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Because she loved family so much, we are grateful that she will now be able to see her parents (Bert and Leafy Todd), husband (Richard Ludlow), siblings (Bob, Betty and Joan), son (Larry Ludlow), and granddaughter (Lindsay Garner). She will be missed: daughters Linda (Mark) Horn, LuAnn (Scott) Irwin; sister Helen Chastain; grandchildren Jenay (Jeffrey) Chalkley, Jennifer (Adam) Steele, Brock Irwin, Greg (Val) Horn, Tyler Irwin; great grandchildren Xavier Chalkley, Isaac Chalkley, Isabelle Steele, Griffin Garner, Nolan Steele, Monroe Garner, Clayton Horn, Jacob Horn, Camryn Horn, and the multitude of friends.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Mon. Aug. 29 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there on Tues. Aug. 30 at 10 am. Burial will follow at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
