Neva Diane (Winn) Fitzgerald

was born October 19, 1950 as the second child and eldest daughter to Mr. J. Spencer and Mary Ellen Winn in Lusk, Wyoming.  The Winn family lived in Casper, Wyoming for the first part of Diane's life.  She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1969.  Diane studied for her English Teaching Degree at West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas.  While there she was a member of the "Song Girls" (pesters), a member of the Delta Zeta sorority as well as a member of the Student Senate.  While there she met the "Love of her Life," James (Jim) Fitzgerald, whom she married in 1974.  The Lord blessed them with two children, Scott and Caroline.  Jim and Diane served Jim's career in management with the railroad industry throughout the Midwestern United States and Canada until his retirement.  Diane's passions were her Lord; her family and helping others through a variety of means including; her Church, several women's Bible study groups (which she often led), PEO, Rehab's Rope, gardening, and travel.  Diane was graced with the presence of our Lord on November 9, 2022.  A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Spence and Ellen Winn.  She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jim Fitzgerald; their children Scott (Lanisa) Fitzgerald their daughter, Lynley of Lubbock, Texas, and Caroline (Mark) Seavey and their children Violet, Ransom and Spencer (twins) of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Diane's surviving extended family are Dave (Darla) Winn of Casper, Wyoming, and Jane (John) Zent of Birmingham, Alabama, and their children Adam (Amanda) Zent their children, and JD Zent.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rahab's Rope at www.rahabsrope.com or to a charity of your choice in Diane's name.
