Newton E. Hensley
Age 86, Brownsburg, passed away June 19, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital, after a short illness. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Brownsburg Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Temple Shrine, the Brownsburg American Legion, and St. Malachy church. Newt was born in Terre Haute, the son of Horatio and Jewell Pearl Hensley. A son Bruce Hensley preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Irene; children Tom (Sarah) Hensley, Judy (Steve) Lalioff, Janice (Mark) Adams, Darleen (Otto) Prow, Becky (Jake) Yung, Susie Moloy, and Mike Hensley; grandchildren Joan Jamtaas, Todd Yung, Angi Riley, Judd Moloy, Ryan Moloy, Jared Prow, L.B. Merritt, Mary Hensley, Alison Prow, and Amy Kelly; great grandchildren Logan Riley, Joe Riley, Jake Riley, Sydney Moloy, Livia Moloy, Alexa Moloy, and Jakob Silvers. Visitation will be 4-8pm Fri. June 21 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 11am Sat. June 22. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Malachy Church.
