Norman Burton Howard
Age 77 Pittsboro, passed away Dec. 13, 2013. He had worked at the VA Medical Center Hospital for 47 years, retiring in 2011. He was a US Army veteran and a graduate of Ball State University. Survivors include his wife Heidi Howard; children Stewart Howard, Christian Howard, and Megan Turner; stepchildren Matthew Reeck, Stephanie Bode, and Nathan J. Boles; sister Nancy Upchurch; 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1pm Mon. Dec. 16 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 11am to 1pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society. www.indyhumane.org
