Obie Allan Shields

83, Brownsburg, formerly of Morgantown, KY, passed away December 14, 2020.  He retired from General Motors in 1995 where he had been a buyer.  Allan received his Bachelor's and Master's degree from Western Kentucky University.  He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and a Kentucky Colonel.  Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Alice Shields; children Tim (Shelly) Shields and Sherrie Shields; grandchildren Keeley and Trevor Shields; brothers David and Bobby Shields; sisters Ruby Mae Shields, Frankie Hatcher, Gail Bratcher, Ann Keown, and Barbara Jones.  Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Sat. Dec. 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 noon.  In compliance with current regulations and restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.
