Pamela Kay
Lach
April 25, 1945 – August 11, 2025
Pamela Kay (McLary) Lach, 80, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on August 11, 2025. Born to Dale and Irene (Waltman) McLary in Morgantown, Indiana, on April 25, 1944, she was the youngest of three children. She married Theodore (Ted) Robert Lach in Brownsburg, Indiana, on October 24, 1964 after finishing a secretarial program at Indiana Business College. She started her career as a legal secretary at Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis, and then, after several years of being home with her children, she began working at Bingham Summers Welsh & Spilman LLP. In 1998, she retired to spend more time with her beloved grandchildren.
Pam and Ted have been active members of Parkside Bible Church (formerly Bethesda) since 1967. Pam spent much of her time visiting elderly women who could no longer leave their homes, delivering meals to homebound people, hosting events for her Sunday School class, and sending notes to anyone who needed encouragement and support. She also loved studying the Bible, serving as a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) leader for several years.
Pam treasured time with her family whether that be tea parties at home, outings to state parks, or fun family vacations. She found great joy in hosting family gatherings for both immediate and extended family. Her family and her relationship with God were the most important things in her life. Pam was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Pam is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ted Lach; her sister, Jean Lilly; three children, Jodi Lach, Bob (Jennifer) Lach, and Amy (Tony) Dover; and seven grandchildren. Preceding her are her parents, Dale and Irene McLary; and her brother, Richard McLary, and by beloved nephew Brett Lilly. A private graveside service was held on August 14.
