Patricia Carol Storms Evanoff
Also known as Trish or Pat, was born September 21, 1950 to Ellavon and Charles R. Storms passed away October 2, 2026 as the result of a fall.
Trish is survived by her daughter Sabra Evanoff (Brian Ayres), her siblings Pamelia Storms Barrett and Robert R. Storms (Lu Anne), Sabra’s father, George Evanoff, her favorite boy cousin, Rex Burnell, also 12 nieces, 3 nephews, 12 great nephews, 7 great nieces, 2 great great nephews, and 3 foster children. And, her beloved little dog, Precious.
Preceding her in death are her parents, sister Judith Donovan and husband Terry, sister Janis Gustavson and husband Steve, as well as her grandparents.
Many adjectives have been used to describe who she really was: faith-filled, loving, kind, joyful, loyal, witty, creative, musical, lover of all holidays.
Through her personal ministry she was an ordained AHE minister in Cincinnati, a spiritual director, and a counselor. She lead many souls to Jesus – too numerous to count. Someone referred to her as “God’s little messenger on Earth”.
Even though she lived in many different places, she was never lonely - as she made true friends wherever she was.
Trish would never think of leaving the house without her makeup in place and her jewelry, especially her pearls, regardless of where she was headed. And no doubt she would be wearing one of her “special” t-shirts.
Early in her life, she wanted to be a nurse (but hated math), so she became a caregiver to many, many people. She was great at this task.
Trish had so many talents. She loved art, playing the organ, and crafting became her favorite hobby. She held classes in her home to teach others. She could also sing – no surprise there.
She would’ve been a great interior decorator. No matter where she lived, it was decorated beautifully. Christmas was a favorite, especially Christmas trees. She had four in her house fully decorated and lit twelve months of the year. The decorations even changed for each holiday!
The bottom line about her was, she was the best person and anyone that knew her would agree! Truly one of a kind.
And, she loved and was loved by hundreds of people but especially, by her daughter Sabra and all of her family.
God Bless Her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th from 11 am to 1 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services to follow at 1 pm. Pat will then be laid to rest in Brownsburg Cemetery.
