Patricia G. Tynes
74, Brownsburg, passed away on February 20, 2024. She was born in Unionville, Missouri on September 19, 1949, to parents Charles and Wilma Newman. She was an only child.

In 1969 she married her beloved husband and soulmate, William Tynes and they began to build a family together. As daughters Stacy (Ryan) Demaree and Michelle (Corbin) Jarvis grew up, Pat was a devoted and loving mother, providing unconditional love and support to her daughters and husband. During this time, she continued to pursue her varied creative interests, including cake decorating, flower arranging, oil and water painting, quilting, sewing, crocheting, cooking and traveling. Pat was concerned for the well-being of loved ones as well as those in her community and spent time volunteering to serve elderly in the local nursing home, disabled children to ride the school bus and helped adults study to achieve their GEDs at the library. In retirement she was as enthusiastic of a grandmother that there ever was. Mackenzie Jarvis, Gavin Jarvis and Dakota Demaree felt her undying love and support from the moment they entered the world. She showered them with affection and attention, attended events and recitals, did crafts and projects with them, hosted many dozens of sleepovers and took them on trips in the Airstream with her husband, Bill. She delighted in watching them grow up.

She will be missed terribly and eternally by her family and all who knew her. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm Mon. Feb. 26 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 2 pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
