Paul E. Lucas, age 85, of Brownsburg, passed away Mar. 21, 2017. He was born in North Judson, IN on Feb. 24, 1932, the youngest of 11 children to Charles and Harriet Lucas. He graduated from Culver H.S. in 1950. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Paul graduated from Purdue University in 1959 with a degree in civil Engineering. He spent most of his career with USDA, Soil Conservation Service, retiring in 1988, with 30 years of government service. Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy (Dusek); also daughter, Denise (Ken) Kindler, sons, Bryce (Kim) Lucas, Roger (Becky) Lucas, and Perry Lucas; seven grandchildren, Janelle (Sam) Drisko, Krista (Don) Baber, Sara, Rachel, Calen, Connor, and Corinne Lucas; three great grandchildren, Olivia and Owen Drisko, and Chase Baber.
