Paul Rhodes

Paul Rhodes, 62, passed into eternal life with Jesus on April 25, 2022, while surrounded by family. Christ follower, beloved husband and caring father, Paul was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church and the Brownsburg Legion. He was born and raised in La Jolla, CA. He was a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA (Biochemistry undergraduate) and Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA (MBA).  He was a CFO and Financial Analyst for 35 years. Paul developed a love of surfing, travel, cycling, skiing, golfing, tennis and later coaching his three sons through sports. He met wife Brenda in Palo Alto, CA where their future was kindled on long hikes/camping trips in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and windsurfing on the coast of Santa Cruz, CA. A cheese aficionado, IPA connoisseur, unofficial meteorologist, and stock trader, Paul found enjoyment in many things, including the regular quoting of movies. He brought constant laughs to his family and all those that he crossed paths with. His love for Christ was a light to all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Rhodes and Sally (Wells) and his brother Rick Rhodes. Survivors include his wife Brenda [Moreman] Rhodes, sons Taylor (Lindsay) Rhodes, Ryan Rhodes, and Jeffrey (Charlotte) Rhodes, his mother Judith Rhodes and his brother Christopher (Tana) Rhodes.  Services will be held at Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg, IN on Thursday, May 5, with Visitation at 5pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6pm.
