Penny A. Gwaltney
61, Danville, went home to be with the Lord Feb. 1, 2014. She had been church secretary at Faith Baptist Church, Avon, for several years and formerly worked for Pekin Insurance and Indiana Bell. She had been a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church for 30 years and was an active volunteer for Willing Hearts Ladies Fellowship, Muncie, IN. Survivors include her husband Jack Gwaltney; daughter Britan (James) Johnson; sister Brenda (Charles) Manis; and she was the proud Mamaw to Marc, Andrew, and Matthew Johnson. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. Feb. 6 at Faith Baptist Church, with funeral services there at 10am Fri. Feb. 7. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Temple Christian Academy, 3501 S. Madison St., Muncie, IN 47302.
